STORY SUBMISSIONS
We never print anyone’s story without their permission. After we tell you how much your story is worth, if you’re happy you will need to sign a form that allows us to sell your story on your behalf. We will keep you up to date every step of the way. Even if your story isn’t in demand now, the news agenda changes on a daily basis, so your story may be in demand in the near future. We recieve daily story requests from the national press, so if you tick the ‘keep me informed’ button on our online form, we can let you know whenever a story like yours is needed. By ticking the ‘keep me informed’ box, you are agreeing to us keeping you informed of the stories that we are looking for at any particular time – especially if we think that your story is particulalry relevant.
AGGREGATED INFORMATION
Aggregated information, such as which pages users access or visit is collected through various methods. For example, we collect IP addresses. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you’re surfing the Web. Web servers, the computers that “serve up” Web pages, automatically identify your computer by its IP address, and when you request a page from a website, its servers log your IP address. We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, so although your session will be logged, you will remain anonymous to the site. We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration and to provide aggregate data to advertisers about the volume of use on the site.

Story ideas that are submitted to storymarket by email, or via our electronic form, will not be published to national magazines or newspapers without your consent. storymarket does however reserve the right to use story ideas.
